16 of us went away over the weekend of 17th & 18th October 2009
to compete in a Murder Mystery event in a hotel near Bicester.

Congratulations to Alan Robinson & Gemma Breakell for winning 1st Prize
- 'The Sherlock Holmes Award ' -
for solving the murders and the motives behind the crimes

In 2007 we were delighted to achieve a number of successes in the

'Erica & Me'
written & directed by Alan Robinson (a Beaufort Player)
won
THE TONY GRAHAM CUP
for 'Best Original Play'
'Erica & Me'
it also received a nomination for
'Best Actor'
for Chris Sinclair
for his role as Simon

This original play was subsequently accepted for publication by lazybeescripts.co.uk (1-Act play section) and has already been performed on several occasions.

2007 GEOFFREY WHITWORTH TROPHY COMPETITION
(administered by the Scottish Drama Festivals Association
on behalf of the United Kingdom One-Act Play Festivals)

We also arrange social events for members such as theatre outings, an annual barbecue, a Christmas party and meals at local hostelries, etc. as we believe above all else that belonging to the Beaufort Players Drama Group should be FUN !!
