Our very own Julia Marques organised a lovely evening of environmental readings and discussion as part of Climate Change Theatre Action’s response to COP23.
During the evening we read a number of short plays by established playwrights, all with an environmental theme. Whilst it’s fair to say that not all of them appealed to everybody, everyone found at least a couple which they liked and the pieces certainly stimulated a lot of debate on topics as diverse as the moral responsibility of dinosaurs, plastic bag taxes and night buses vs. Uber.
